About CIFI

The Catholic Institute of the Food Industry (CIFI) was founded in 1946 to bring together Catholics working in the food industry in a spirit of fellowship, united by our commitment to uphold the four pillars of our organization. Our Officers and Board of Directors represent a diverse group of Christians from all sectors of the food industry, spanning both sides of the desk.

The CIFI is proud to provide not only financial resources but also the collective spirit and humanity of our members to the causes we support. In a time when many charitable organizations face challenges in maintaining membership, we are grateful to see the continued growth and strength of the CIFI. Through the dedication of our members, we have been able to donate to a number of worthy charities, including Calvary Hospital, Catholic Faith Network, Tiegerman and CaringKind. Additionally, we provide holiday turkeys to those in need each year.

During the Christmas season, each board member sponsors a family in need, often providing gifts such as clothing and toys, or helping with essential household bills. The gratitude we receive from the families we've served is deeply rewarding and we look forward to continuing to make a difference in the lives of those in need.
